Backstage at the Jingle Bell Ball 2010

Last week was an extremely busy time at MacLaurin Media HQ, as we geared up for the third annual 95.8 Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball
Throughout the week, the entire team where on hand to assist with the processing of media requests, compiling the artist gift bags, sending out invitations to all the attending VIP guests and getting the media centre ready for the weekend event.
On the weekend it self we were all on hand to manage the backstage shenanigans in the media centre and on the red carpet, as journalists from the nationals, weekly glossies joined photographers from the leading picture agencies to capture the event for their readers.

Despite being rather cold, all of the 21 artists hit the red carpet in their best clobber to pose for photographs and to talk to the press about their Christmas plans and although it was an very demanding and tiring weekend for everyone involved, it was great fun.
This year’s Jingle Bell Ball, sold-out in under and hours and was once again held at London’s O2 Arena, and hosted by 95.8 Capital FM presenters Johnny Vaughan, Margherita Taylor and Rich Clarke.
32, 000 music fans attended across the two-day event on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December which included performances from the Black Eyed Peas, Kylie Minogue, Tine Tempah, Akon, McFly, JLS, Nicole Scherzinger and The Wanted.
