Nicole Scherzinger stormed to the top of the Big Top 40 chart yesterday beating off competition from The Wanted and Adele.
The former Pussycat Doll, whose debut album Killer Love is released on Friday, went straight in at number one with her second single ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’.
The Wanted entered the chart at number two with this year’s Comic Relief song, ‘Gold Forever’, pushing last week’s number 1 Adele into third place with ‘Someone Like You’.
The London five-piece also joined Rich and Kat in the studio throughout the show, where they each challenged listeners to a starring contest. Can you beat Siva, Max, Jay, Nathan or Tom? Visit the Big Top 40 website to try your luck.
The Big Top 40 is the UK’s biggest national chart reaching over 2.2million listeners each week. The chart is broadcast across the country, to stations within the Heart and Capital networks, Bauer’s Big City Network, GMG’s Real and on digital radio.
