The media centre was a hive of activity throughout the day as the world’s press eagerly gathered backstage to capture the magic of the glittering showbiz event.
The MacLaurin Media team once again managed things backstage as some of the world’s greatest musical acts arrived at London’s landmark stadium.
Usher open the show with spectacular performance of his track Caught Up, which helped warm up the crowd for a fantastic evening of live music.
Alexandra Burke, Ke$ha and Pixie Lott all put on equally energetic performances throughout the day but it was Justin Bieber and Jason Derulo who proved very popular with the girls.
The biggest crowd pleasure of the day came when Florence Welch joined Dizzie Rascal on stage for a surprise performance of their hit You Got the Dirtee Love.
Florence was not the only surprise guest to perform though with Will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas, Sean Kingston and Esmee Denters also taking to the stage.
Rihanna closed the show treating crowds to an explosive set including a show stopping performance of her smash hit Rude Boy before finishing with her chart topping hit Umbrella.
The Summertime Ball, the summer’s biggest party, in association with Asos.com supports Capital’s flagship charity, Help A London Child, with a donation being made from the proceeds of the event.
